Remember Amnesia
You don't want to forget to check out Amnesia this weekend!
We are just fine feeling like we are in Detroit, so don't get us wrong. But while standing in Amnesia, the new nightclub at the Motor City Casino Hotel, it sure doesn't feel like we're in the 313.
On the 16th floor of Motor City's world-class hotel, Detroit adds another "wow" to its growing resume of landmarks. Next to Detroit's only 4-diamond restaurant, Iredescence, Amnesia is a place you do not want to forget. Boasting two floors, soaring ceilings, world-class sound and lighting, Motor City Casino has set a new standard for Detroit nightlife. The details are spectacular and the crowd is diverse, cultured, sexy, and spontaneous.
What to wear
If you are willing to spend a nice chunk of change on cover and drinks, be willing to spend some on your outfit. If you are wearing sneakers and/or a tshirt, you can hang out at the bars on the gaming floor. But if you want to get a case of Amnesia, put on the good stuff.
Besides dancing and drinking
Why would you want to do anything else? But in case you do, there is a beautiful view and great food. They even play movies on their massive projection televisions lining the back of the club. (When we went, they were showing Oceans 13).
Bottle Service
We decided to make a seperate section for bottle service (in this article) because that's what they do (in the club). The biggest advantage of getting bottle service is that you have seats! There is limited seating available (almost none) for patrons who'd rather drink at the bar. So if you aren't going big, don't go home, just wear comfortable shoes!
